Student Housing: "Very stable and solid asset class", says Peter Noack
Co-Founder & Managing Director at Zeitgeist Asset Management reveals particular interest in Student Housing

Zeitgeist Asset Management operates predominantly in residential for rent across Europe, including Prague, Berlin, Milan, Warsaw and Budapest. Managing Director, Peter Noack, spoke with Gustavo Favaron, CEO & Managing Partner of GRI Club, at Europe GRI 2023 last month, to discuss his market perspectives.
Regarding the coming year, Zeitgeist Asset Management has eyes on Germany’s “robust” market. The country had the lowest yields, and now with such high interest rates there is a large gap which will prompt opportunities in the coming 6-12 months, Peter remarks.
Peter particularly noted student housing, regarding it as an extremely stable and solid asset class. During what has been a challenging past three years, student housing has remained remarkably solid, with occupancy rates persisting at 70% during the most difficult period of the pandemic.
