Opportunities for sustainable investments in Brazil

The Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI), an international not-for-profit organization that works to mobilize the global bond market to fight climate change, presented in a GRI Club meeting focused on Brazilian infrastructure sector, in December, its report 'Opportunities for Sustainable Infrastructure Investments at City Level in Brazil'.

This report is aimed at raising awareness across key infrastructure stakeholders in Brazil, and building a number of market education activities. According to the organization, once a pipeline of eligible projects has been identified, a more in-depth report will be produced pointing out market barriers and further regulatory and policy recommendations to unlock investment potential.
